Busy Sunday

Sunday 29th April
What a busy day we had today, we left the house at 10.15 to give Mr Miller some space to get some things done around the house. We went to see if Auntie Bec was at her house, as she is moving houses, but she wasn't there. We took some DVD's back to Video City, then drove to Invermay market to see if Auntie Bec was working at the market, but Jack didn't want to go in so we drove to the house that she is moving in to to see if she was there, but she wasn't  (she must have been working at the market). Next we went to McDonald's to get a thickshake, but there machine had broken down, so we drove to South Launceston to get them as that's what Jack wanted and we got some nuggets. We then decided to go for a drive out to Perth to have a play at the train park. I went home to get the camera. At the train park Jack enjoyed climbing up and playing on the train he met another little boy Henry who he had a play with.

We then drove back to Launceston, Charlie needed a feed so I went to Norwood primary school and parked in the car park, Jack then needed to go to the toilet so we went to Meadow Mews there was a jumping castle there, so after the toilet we went to the chemist to get Charlie some formula to try (I want to give him a formula bottle at night to see if he will sleep longer) then we went back to the jumping castle Jack had lots of fun (a few months ago he would not get on one)

We then got groceries and went home!!

Bike Centre

Friday 27th April
Today we went to the Bike Centre...again(c: I think we have been there 6 times in the last 6 months, but Jack loves it there. We went there with his early learning class. Jack had a great time riding his bike and playing hide and seek and chasies with Isabella...It was nice to see how he interacts with other children from school. Charlie sat with me and smiled at all the mothers and watched the other children.

This photo was taken another time you had been at the bike centre

Autumn afternoon

yesterday it was a beautiful Autumn day after I picked Jack up from school and Charlie was in bed, Jack and I went outside to play. We had fun on the trampoline together and playing in the sand. We built sandcastle cakes with icing, sprinkles and candles. Jack cut the cake and we pretended to eat it, when I went to check Charlie (Must get a baby monitor) Jack had built 2 more cakes. It was really nice to get outside and spend some time together, we haven't done that much lately.

Lego

Yesterday was Anzac day, Mr Miller had the day off and took Jack for the morning as I had had a few bad nights with getting up to both of them. He took Jack to K Mart and got some Lego. A while ago Mr Miller brought a big box of Lego home from his parents house and although Jack is a bit young for it and gets frustrated when it falls apart he loves it...so they bought a garbage truck.

Baking scones

After watching Ratatouille we got a bit peckish so we made date scones. Jack loves cracking the eggs and is rather good at it. He also enjoyed 'painting' the tops of the scones with milk. "I'm a great chef" He says. While they were cooking Jack played with playdough and guess what he wanted to do? make scones...

Me "what do they look like?"
J "Like fake rubies"
A line from Flushed Away-yes we watch a lot of movies, hey it's a rainy day

Putting milk, then icing on his 'scones'

"They're ready"

Mmm Yummy

Today I took Charlie to the health clinic for his 4 month check up...he is 4 months today!
He weighs 6.3 kilos, 13lb 15oz. 62 cm long, and head is 40cm she said he has a small head and just under average for weight and length. She kept saying how long his eyelashes are. And that he might be sitting up soon as he has great head control...Eeek, growing way to quick!!

Our family

Wow, my first blog post...This is me, Sarah Miller and my gorgeous family...husband Phill, we have been together for 15 years and married for 4 years and 6 months. We have 2 sons, Jack 3 and 5 months and Charlie 4 months. I am blogging for my 2 children so they have memories of our family life together.

I have been writing journals for both of my boys since I become pregnant but wanted somewhere I could add photos and write about my own expereinces.

Our lives at the moment...
I am a stay at home mum which I love and are very lucky to be able to do this.
My hobbies are scrapbooking, cooking and creating.

Phill works for a company called Jemena as a SCADA Engineer.
His hobbies are mountain biking, road riding, kayaking and gardening.

Jack goes to Early Learning at Scotch Oakburn Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
He goes to swimming lessons on Saturday, and has only started this term, but has picked it up very quickly.
He loves anything to do with transport and books.

Charlie is a very happy 4 month old who has just started rolling over, and is growing to quick for my liking!
